RLE is particularly beneficial for those experiencing the natural aging changes of the eye known as Dysfunctional Lens Syndrome (DLS), which affects focusing ability, night vision, and contrast sensitivity as early as age 42.
During this procedure, Dr. Ginsberg replaces the eye’s natural lens with a custom-selected intraocular lens (IOL) implant. The entire process typically takes about 10 minutes per eye. The result is clear, stable vision and a dramatically reduced need for corrective lenses.
